Some people say the French can be arrogant. Now that I’ve been to Paris, I understand why. What a beautiful city!

Been really busy for a while. Decided to take the day off from most everything. The day started with sleeping in until almost 9:00. It’s been a few years since I slept that late. I had been fighting with myself for “wasting” a few hours in bed until I opened a little book a friend loaned me. A short story was called “Purposeful Pausing”. In the story, the author quotes an old Chinese scholar, “When there is no time for quiet, there is no time for the soul to grow. The man who walks through a countryside sees more than the man that runs”. Intellectually, we know we should slow down but the “to do” list is always sooooo long. Whether you call it “purposeful pausing” or the theme of this website, “discover life between appointments”, let’s chose to walk, not run through the countryside. Still having fun with my camera as I discover life Between Appointments. Keep up the good works. Happy Holidays Many of our images are now available as press printed 5 x 7 greeting cards.
